DESCRIPTION:Today begins the Church Year with the Season of Advent. Advent 
 is a season of waiting\, expecting\, hoping with a special focus on the 2n
 d Coming of Christ and also leads us into Christmas. Pastor Shane will be 
 preaching from Romans 11:17-24.\n\nAs is it the first Sunday of month\, we
  will be using Morning Prayer for our main liturgy and also praying the Gr
 eat Litany.\n\nTo prepare for worship\, read the Collect and Scripture les
 sons.\nThe Collect for the 1st Sunday in Advent.\nAlmighty God\, give us g
 race to cast away the works of darkness and to put on the armour of light\
 , now in the time of this mortal life\, in which your Son Jesus Christ cam
 e to us in great humility so that on the last day\, when he will come agai
 n in his glorious majesty to judge the living and the dead\, we may rise t
 o the life immortal\, through him who lives and reigns with you and the Ho
