DESCRIPTION:Today begins the Church Year with the Season of Advent. Advent 
 is a season of waiting\, expecting\, hoping with a special focus on the 2n
 d Coming of Christ and also leads us into Christmas. Pastor Shane will be 
 preaching.\n\nBeing the first Sunday in Advent\, we will be using Morning 
 Prayer for our main liturgy and praying the Great Litany.\n\nTo prepare fo
 r worship\, read the Collect and Scripture lessons.\nThe Collect for the 1
 st Sunday in Advent.\nAlmighty God\, give us grace to cast away the works 
 of darkness and to put on the armour of light\, now in the time of this mo
 rtal life\, in which your Son Jesus Christ came to us in great humility so
  that on the last day\, when he will come again in his glorious majesty to
  judge the living and the dead\, we may rise to the life immortal\, throug
 h him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit\, one God\, now an
