 ollect for the 4th Sunday in Advent.\nLord\, come among us\, we pray\, wit
 h your power and help us with your great might so that\, although we are h
 indered by our sins and wickedness from running the race set before us\, y
 our bountiful grace and mercy may speedily help and deliver us through the
  work of your Son our Lord to whom with you and the Holy Spirit be honour 
 and glory now and for ever. Amen.\n\nThe Collect for the 1st Sunday in Adv
 ent.\nAlmighty God\, give us grace to cast away the works of darkness and 
 to put on the armour of light\, now in the time of this mortal life\, in w
 hich your Son Jesus Christ came to us in great humility so that on the las
 t day\, when he will come again in his glorious majesty to judge the livin
 g and the dead\, we may rise to the life immortal\, through him who lives 
 and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit\, one God\, now and forever. Amen.
