Pastor Shane will be preaching from Psalm 25 in our Psalter Sermon Series.

The Collect and Lessons for the Sunday next before Easter.
Almighty and everlasting God, who in your tender love towards mankind sent your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ to take upon him our nature and to suffer death upon the cross so that all mankind should follow the example of his great humility, grant that we may both follow the example of his patience and also have our part in his resurrection, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Collect for Ash Wednesday (prayed daily through Lent)
Almighty and everlasting God, you hate nothing that you have made and forgive the sins of all who are penitent: make in us new and contrite hearts so that, lamenting our sins and acknowledging our wretchedness, we may receive from you, the God of all mercy, perfect remission and forgiveness through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A. One who is a true and righteous human, yet more powerful than all creatures, that is, one who is also true God.
