Maundy Thursday Service

Maundy Thursday Service: Maundy comes from the Latin for command. This is tied into Jesus’ Last Supper and the new commandment that He gave to His disciples that “we love one another.”

Join us this night as we hear from the scriptures and gather at His table remembering the events of that took place on the night before Jesus was crucified.

The Collect for Maundy Thursday
Almighty and everlasting God, you hate nothing that you have made and forgive the sins of all who are penitent: make in us new and contrite hearts so that, lamenting our sins and acknowledging our wretchedness, we may receive from you, the God of all mercy, perfect remission and forgiveness through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
