Sunday Worship: The 5th Sunday after Easter (Rogation Sunday)

The 5th Sunday after Easter is the last one in the Easter Season as Ascension Day is Thursday. This Sunday is also historically called “Rogation Sunday.” This goes back to old England and the agricultural society when the church would walk the boundary lines of the parish and give thanks to God for His provision.
