Sunday Worship: The 17th Sunday after Trinity

This is the 17th Sunday after Trinity Sunday. Christopher Daugherty will be preaching from Ephesians 4:1-6.

Lord, we pray thee that thy grace may always prevent* and follow us, and make us continually to be given to all good works, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The word “prevent” meant “to go before” in the 16th Century so we are asking for God’s grace to go before us and to follow us.
