Sunday Worship: The 1st Sunday after Trinity
We are now in what is called “ordinary time.” Ordinary as in “normal” or “everyday.” Ordinary time focuses on living out our faith in the normal, everyday routine of our lives.
On the first Sunday of the month, we use the Morning Prayer liturgy with Communion.
In our Romans Sermon Series, Pastor Shane will be preaching Romans 16:17-24.
To prepare for worship, read the Collect and Scripture lessons.
The Collect for the 1st Sunday after Trinity.
O GOD, the strength of all those that put their trust in thee: Mercifully accept our prayers, and because through the weakness of our mortal nature we can do no good thing without thee, grant us the help of thy grace, that in keeping of thy commandments we may please thee, both in will and deed; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
