God’s mercy towards us not only moves us to humility towards Him, but humility towards our brothers and sisters in Christ. The context of our transformation by the renewing of our minds is in the context of the body of Christ: the church. Paul tells us not to be self-conceited. When we think about how God shows no partiality in salvation and in also giving individuals gifts, we are moved to think about others and serve them.
