Jesus healed a man on the Sabbath and the Pharisees were upset. This is a repeated event in the Gospels. Jesus was continually trying to teach the people that the Sabbath was made for them. It was the Pharisees who added a bunch of man-made laws to the Sabbath burdening the people. Their response to Jesus’ mercy shows the hardness of their own hearts.
