Dr. Paul Smith addressed everyone’s favorite topic on Sunday: money. It is a topic that we do not talk about much, but God in His Word does. Deuteronomy 26 informs of HOW we are to give, TO WHOM we are to give and WHY we give. What we find first is that we are called to give both sacrificially and with generosity. The whom of giving is for the poor and for pastors. And the why comes from what we have already received from God. All we have is from Him: life itself, redemption in Christ and all that we own.
