There is one thing that we can be sure of as Christians, that God of our salvation, will complete this work in us in the return of Christ. Along with way, we may find ourselves discouraged, like the Philippians, especially when those first spoke the gospel to us and mentored us in the faith, are no longer with us. We can be sure that even in our discouragement, Christ moves towards us with His great heart of mercy.
