The parable of the sower is a familiar one. The sower sows seed into 4 different types of soil. Only one produces fruit…and that 100-fold. I only focused on these last soil, the soil all Christians should desire to be, to answer the question of, “how do we grow in Christ?” Jesus mentions through components that not only bring us into relationship with Christ (union with God), but also are the same components by which we GROW in Christ (communion with God). These 3 are: the Word of God, the Spirit of God and a humble, believing heart.
