Our Bishop Ken Ross was with us this past weekend and preached from the Epistle Lesson of 1 Corinthians 13, commonly called “the Love chapter.” As we head into Lent, it is vital to reminded is that God is Love and that He has shown His love in the cross of Christ. When we receive God’s love through faith, then we can love like Him. Practically speaking, love is both PATIENT and KIND. God has been patient towards us in Christ by withholding what we deserve (judgement) and kind towards us in giving us what we do not deserve (grace). This is how we are to love others.
