God has called and gifted each of us for ministry. Yes, some to ordained ministry, but the majority of us to lay ministry. Christ works through each of us by the power of the Holy Spirit to produce fruit. The fruit of our ministry is what we have to offer to God the Father as our priestly sacrifice. Not for the atonement of our sins, as our Great High Priest, Jesus Christ, has atoned for our sins by offering His own body. But rather, it is our offering for His glory as a sacrifice of Thanksgiving.
