Exodus 13 falls between the Passover event in chapter 12, and the full deliverance of Israel by God in the crossing of the Red Sea in chapter 14. In this chapter, God tells the people they are to remember His work in the Feast of Unleavened Bread and in the Consecration of all first born males.
