Psalm 3-6 are known as Morning and Evening Psalms. The Psalms were designed to be sung in corporate worship. These Psalms were used in the worship of Israel at the time of the Morning and Evening Sacrifice. In both of these Psalms, David cries out to God to deliver Him from boastful men who seek to do Him harm. Jesus prayed these as well and the true righteous man, trusted that God would deliver Him.
