Not to us but to you, O Lord, be the glory! That is how Psalm 115 opens and it is a well known verse. But the context of the verse is not about diminishing human accomplishments, but rather about how the living, faithful, loving, righteous God shines forth over every false , dead god/idol. God’s glory shines forth to us in Jesus. He blesses us with Christ so that we might bless him in lives of praise, now and forever!
