As chapter 5 concludes, Paul considers more fully the super abundance of God's grace in justification. He does this by comparing and contrasting the first Adam, through whose one act of disobedience has come sin and death to every human being, with the second Adam, Jesus Christ, through whose one act of obedience has come righteousness and life to every human being this free gift. The reality is that we are EITHER in the first Adam and under the reign of death, OR we are in the second Adam and reigning in life.Where sin has abounded, God's grace has super abounded even more!
