Psalm 25 is the first Psalm in the whole Psalter in which David explicitly asks God to forgive him of his sins…and he does this three times. He entrusts his whole being to Yahweh, the God of his salvation. He asks God to remember three things, which all relate to us as well

1. God- remember that you are Love.

2. God- do NOT remember my past actions that were not done in Love.

3. God- remember that you love me. God is love and we are not.

We are sinners in need of the His love through forgiveness of our sins. This He does through Jesus who pays the redemption price of our sin with His own blood.
