Following the command for us to be in submission to our human government, Peter turns his attention to servants. This is a challenging passage, but the heart of it is the principle that when God frees us from the kingdom of darkness into HIs kingdom of light, we are free but now slaves of Christ. This inner disposition of living with Jesus as my Lord is the key. Out of submission to Him, we are to live doing good amongst the people of this world that they may come to believe in Christ and praise Him too.
