7/02/23 Romans 8:28-30 God Causes all Things to Work Together for Good: the Glory of His Son
Coming to the end of Romans chapter 8, and the first half of the whole book, Paul reaches a crescendo. After proclaiming the well-known phrase “that all thing work together for good,” he qualifies that this is God’s work in those whom he foreknew and predestined from before the foundation of the earth. And those he also called, justified and glorified, speaking of our future glorification in the past tense. God has truly done it all and all for the purpose of seeing His Son, glorified and we with Him.
